Just what is precisely is El-Hazard anyway......

El-Hazard is a world that is not of this dimension, but of another dimension.  It is a different world, full of adventure and wonder.  But with the good, must come the bad, and the Bugrom and the Phantom Tribe are the bad.  The Bugrom Empire lies beyone the land of El-Hazard, "beyond the great holy river of God."  The Bugrom are one of El-Hazard's enemies, as is the Phantom Tribe.  The Phantom Tribe live in the underground of El-Hazard.  They were transported to El-Hazard when the Eye of God was last activated and was shunned by the inhabitants of El-Hazard.  All that the Phantom Tribe have for El-Hazard is hatred.

And now...a history lesson of El-Hazard with our favorite teacher, Mr. Fujisawa.

<Mr. Fujisawa>  Thank you.  Now...wait a minute....<takes out his bottle of wine and takes down a few gulps> AHHH!  Now.....from what I  learned in my adventures in Never Never  Land, the ancients of El-Hazard created two very powerful weapons.  One was the Eye of God.  The Eye of God was to serve as a final defense for El-Hazard, in case of massive invasion by the Bugrom Empire or by some other unknown threat.  The Eye of God can be only activated by the 3 Priestesses of Muldoon, and then the only people that can actually use the weapon are the two princesses of Roshtaria.

     The other was the Demon God known as Ifurita.  Ifurita was known as the destroyer of worlds, and can only be controlled by the one who has her Power Key Staff.  Infurita was encased into a tomb at a place called the Forbidden Island.  Only the 3 Priestesses of Muldoon know the location of this place.   It is unknown if the ancients of El-Hazard created more beings like Infurita, or if Infurita is an actual being that was enslaved by the ancients of El-Hazard, made to fight their wars.

And, thus ends my history lesson on El-Hazard.  I hope you was paying attention, because there's a quiz tomorrow.  Now...I need to get my nicotine fix.
